Training course on 'start your own business' ends

A five-day training course on 'start your own business' concluded at the MIDAS head office in the city recently.

The course was designed on a German model called Competency-based Economics through Formation of Enterprise (CEFE) successfully implemented in more than 50 countries in Asia, Africa, South America and Europe.

The course will enable the participants to identify and select viable business projects, prepare banking business plans covering management, marketing and production aspects, and analyse profit and loss of potential business ventures.

Ten participants took part in the training course. They prepared individual business plans on their selected business matching their personal ability and expertise.

MIDAS General Manager ASM Mashiur Rahman was present in the closing session of the five-day training course.

He distributed certificates among the participants who successfully completed the course.

MIDAS Assistant Manager Md Ebrahim Hossain and Officer Abu Darda were also present on the occasion.
