Training course 'Start Your Own Business' ends

A five-day training course jointly organised by Micro Industries Development Assistance and Services (MIDAS) and Rotaract District Organisation 3280 Bangladesh concluded in the city recently, said a press release.
The course titled 'Start Your Own Business' was designed on a German model called 'Competency-based Economies through Formation of Enterprise (CEFE)' - implemented in more than 50 countries in Asia, Africa, South America and Europe.
Managing Director of MIDAS Abdul Karim was present at the concluding ceremony and distributed certificates among the participants.
It is expected that the course will enable the participants to identify and select viable business projects, prepare bankable business plans covering management, marketing and production aspects, analyse profit and loss of potential business ventures.
A total of 20 participants took part in the training course. They also prepared their individual business plans on their selected business matching their personal ability and expertise.
Among others, General Manager of MIDAS ASM Mashi-ur-Rahman and Assistant Manager Md Ebrahim Hossain and District Rotaract Representative Toslim Zaman Noyon were present on the occasion, the release added.
