Training on 'Book Building' concludes

A two-day training programme on book building concluded Saturday in the capital with the holding of a lively discussion on various issues relating to the country's growing securities markets.
Institute of Training Innovative Management and Technology (INTIMATE) organised the event styled "Concept and Method of Book Building for Price Discovery and Capital Raising' at a city hotel.
B Narasimhan, faculty of Bombay Stock Exchange and a member of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), and Mohammad Abdul Hannan Zoarder, executive director of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) were the resource persons of the two-day event.
The resource persons delivered lectures on key stock market issues particularly on the basic concept of book building and role of information on financial market.
M H Rahman, managing partner of INTIMATE and chairman of ARENCO Group, SEC executive director Mohammad Abdul Hannan Zoarder and Moazzem Hossain, editor of the Financial Express spoke during closing session. Later, Mr Moazzem Hossain distributed awards and certificates among participants.
Representatives from the country's different brokerage houses took part in the training programme.
