Training on climate change held

Day-long training programme on climate change and disaster management was held here Monday at a local hotel. The Khulna Metropolitan Union of Journalist (MUJ) arranged the training programme with the help of RUPANTAR a non-government organisation. KCC Mayor Talukder Abdul Khaleque inaugurated the training programme as chief guest.
The inaugural function was attended, among others, by Nazrul Islam Monju, MP, and Director General of Press Institute of Bangladesh Dulal Chandra Biswas while MUJ president M Anisuzzaman was in the chair.
Environment expert Dr Hossain Shariar attended the function as trainer.
