Training on multimedia classroom management held in Jhenidah

JHENIDAH, Mar 18: A training course on multimedia classroom management for secondary schools and madrasas of Sadar upazila under the district arranged by the upazila administration was held at the upazila parishad auditorium on Wednesday.
Md. Julker Nayen, UNO, Sadar, was present at the programme as the chief guest with Sheikh Md. Kamruzzaman, Upazila Secondary Education Officer in the chair. Md. Abuzor Rahman, assistant progrmmerer, DC office, Jhenidah was the trainer in the session.
The chief guest in his speech reiterated that the present government is working effortlessly aiming at ensuring multimedia classes for all educational institutions in the shortest possible time.   
Headmasters and computer teachers from secondary schools and madrasas under the upazila attended the programme as trainees.
It was told during the session that a number of institutions in the upazila are yet to get multimedia classrooms, electricity and internet connections. Many teachers in the institutions are yet to be imparted training on multimedia classroom management by the departments concerned.
The trainer said that Shikkhak Batayan is the site only for teachers. He laid stress on being members of the site on the part the teachers as soon as possible. Mr. Abuzor also urged the teachers to browse the site to enrich them as well as to contribute to the site by uploading useful contents.
It was revealed in the session that out of one hundred and two secondary schools and madrasas in the upazila, multimedia classroom device had been supplied to only 62 institutions so far. And a list of institutions from the Upazila Secondary Education Office has been sent to the authority concerned to allot the device against their names.
