Training on Start Your Own Business ends

A 5-day training course on Start Your Own Business concluded at MIDAS head office in the city recently.
Micro Industries Development Assistance and Service (MIDAS) and Shakti Foundation jointly organised the course.
This theme was designed on a German model called Competency-based Economies through Formation of Enterprise (CEFE) that was successfully implemented in more than 50 countries in Asia, Africa, South America and Europe.
The course will enable the participants to identify and select viable business projects, prepare bankable business plans covering management, marketing and production aspects, and analyse profit and loss of potential business ventures.
One hundred seventeen participants took part in the training course and prepared individual business plans on their selected business matching their personal ability and expertise.
Director of MIDAS board and DMD of PKSF Parveen Mahmud and MIDAS Managing Director Abdul Karim were present in the closing ceremony and distributed certificates among the participants.
General Manager ASM Mashi-ur-Rahman and Assistant Manager Md Ebrahim Hossain from MIDAS spoke on the occasion.
