Transport strike called off in Ctg

The 24-hour transport strike enforced by Bangladesh Transport Workers’ Federation in Chittagong from 6 am Sunday was withdrawn in the afternoon. Mohammad Musa, president of Bangladesh Transport Workers’ Federation, said the decision was taken following a meeting with Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) Commissioner Abdul Jalil Mandal at CMP office in the afternoon, according to a news agency.
