Transport strike in 16 districts from Oct 3

DINAJPUR, Sept 29: North Bengal regional committee of Bangladesh road transport workers federation will enforce an indefinite transport strike in 16 district of northern part of the country from October 3 to realize their 10 points demand.
Leaders of the committee gave the call for strike in an emergency extended meeting at the local community centre Tuesday night. Khondakar Habiur Rahman Badsha was on chair. They also gave an ultimatum till next 72 hours to accept their demands. The demands release all detained transport workers unconditional and curbing extortion in transport sector by police.
