CHITTAGONG, Apr 18: Investigation officials today confirmed that two youths trapped inside an empty container including the dead one were neither port workers, nor were they employed by any private berth operator. "The two men entered the port reserved area and got into the container with the help of so-called labour contractors who occasionally supply a few outside workers. We will try to identify the "Majhi Sarkar" if any, involved in such activities," said Captain Nazmul Alam, head of the probe committee formed by the Port Authority. He was informed that both youths have been identified by their relatives in the concerned shipping office at the CGO Building at Agrabad in the city, Captain Nazmul added. Nazmul said his team has almost completed the investigation and he is expecting to submit the probe report by Tuesday. Meanwhile, an official admitted that relatives of the youth who died in a container shipped to Singapore identified him as Al Amin, and not Alamgir as stated by the surviving youth Din Islam.
