Travel ban imposed on PDB ex-chief engineer

A Dhaka court on Monday imposed a travel ban on Mohammad Hazrat Ali, a retired chief engineer of the Power Development Board (PDB), over graft allegations, reports BSS.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order, allowing a plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
According to the ACC plea, the anti-graft body is currently probing allegations of huge corruption and irregularities against Hazrat Ali and has learned that the accused is trying to flee the country.
