Travel ban on ex-RCC mayor Liton, family, ex-Jatrabari OC, wife

A Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on former Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC) mayor AHM Khairuzzaman Liton, his wife Shahin Akter, daughters Anika Fariha Zaman and Maisa Samiha Zaman over graft allegations, report agencies.
Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order on Thursday, accepting a plea filed by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) deputy director Mozammil Hossain.
Meanwhile, A Dhaka placed former senior secretary of the ICT ministry NM Ziaul Alam on a two-day remand in a case lodged under cyber security act for allegedly selling citizens' NID information.
