Travel bans on Taqsem, Bahauddin Nasim, family

A Dhaka court has imposed travel bans on Taqsem A Khan, former managing director (MD) of Dhaka Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (WASA), and A F M Bahauddin Nasim, former Member of Parliament (MP), along with his family members.
Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Md Zakir Hossain issued the orders, following two separate petitions - submitted by the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
ACC deputy director Syed Nazrul Islam filed a petition on Wednesday to impose travel ban on the former Dhaka WASA MD.
On October 9, the Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) instructed banks and financial institutions to provide the account details of Awami League Joint General Secretary Bahauddin Nasim.
ACC deputy director Rezaul Karim filed another petition to impose travel bans on Bahauddin Nasim, his wife Meherunnesa, and his son Tahsin Bahar and daughter Aiman Bahar on Tuesday.
