Tree collapse kills housewife

A housewife was killed when a tree collapsed on her during a storm that swept Pratapnagar village at Ashashuni upazila of Satkhira on Friday. The deceased was identified as Ramesa Khatun, 45, wife of Asgar Ali of the village. Witnesses said a mango tree collapsed on Ramesa as a storm ripped through the village, leaving her critically injured. She was rushed to a local clinic where she succumbed to her injuris on Friday night. Ahsan Habib, officer-in-charge of Ashashuni Police Station, confirmed the incident, according to UNB.
