Tree plantation programme on DU campus held

A tree plantation programme was held Thursday on the premises of the residence of Dhaka University (DU) Vice Chancellor (VC) with the assistance of Standard Chartered Bank (SCB).
DU VC AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the programme by planting a 'Debdaru' tree.
Chief Executive Officer of SCB Jim McCabe, Head of Corporate Affairs of SCB Bitopi Das Chowdhury and Chairman, Department of Botany of DU Prof Md Abul Hasan, among others, attended the programme.
