Saturday, 16 June 2007

Trevor Bayliss has been appointed as the new Sri Lankan cricket coach.
Bayliss (44), who succeeds Tom Moody, will begin a two-year term in August after giving up his coaching duties in New South Wales (NSW), reports Cricinfo.
Jayantha Dharmadasa, president of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), said Bayliss, who was interviewed in Colombo, had made such an impressive presentation that the board had no hesitation in contracting him as the next coach.
