Trial of Col Taher killing demanded

Colonel Taher Sangsad formed a human chain in the city Friday, demanding fresh trial of his killing and publication of all the documents of his previous 'farcical' trial, reports UNB.
The hour-long human chain was formed in front of the National Museum at 11.00 am, marking the 33rd year of 'Sepoy-Janata Mutiny'.
Speaking on the occasion, leaders of the Sangsad said that Colonel Taher was the real leader of the National Revolution and Solidarity Day.
General Secretary of Taher Sangsad Ruhul Kuddus Babu and former DUCSU general secretary Mushtaque Ahmed joined the human chain.
