Trial of detained Aman, Tuku adjourned

Tuesday, 4 September 2007

The trial of detained former state ministers Amanullah Aman and Iqbal Hasan Mahmud Tuku and his family on charges of income-tax evasion and corruption respectively was Monday adjourned on different pleas, court sources said.
When the special court set up at the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban for trying high-profile corruption suspects resumed Monday, the counsel for Aman refrained from cross-examining the complainant in the case after he made his depositions, reports UNB.
