Trial of war criminals including SQC demanded

Speakers in the city Friday said vested quarters are resorting to falsehood against the trial of perpetrators of crimes against humanity during the War of Liberation in 1971, reports BSS.
They demanded the immediate trial of the war criminals including Salauddin Quader Chowdhury (SQC).
The speakers made the appeal at a human chain in Jatiya Press Club premises organised by Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote.
Jote vice president, freedom fighter and film actor Faruk, acting general secretary Arun Sarker Rana, Nasima Akther Labu, Krishok League leaders MA Karim and Ahmed Joy, among others, addressed the programme.
