Tribute from President, PM to late minister Mohsin Ali

President Adul Hamid and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina paid rich tributes to late Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban.
The President and the Prime Minister separately placed wreaths on the coffin and stood there in solemn silence for some time as a mark of respect to the memory of the deceased.
Speaker Dr Sharmin Sharmin Chaudhury, deputy speaker, ministers, chief whip and parliament members were also present on the occasion.
Later, Sheikh Hasina the Awami League President along with the senior leaders and parliament members of the party laid another wreath on the coffin on behalf of the party.
Earlier, a namaz-e-janaza of Syed Mohsin Ali was held at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad.
Mohsin Ali died at Singapore General Hospital last Monday at the age of 67.
The body will be flown to Moulvibazar where he will be laid to rest beside Syed Shah Mostafa Rahmatullah shrine, according to UNB.
