Troubles in Satkhira AL

AWAMI League (AL) MP from Satkhira, Engineer Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, was recently beaten up by another AL leader during a party meeting at the local municipality auditorium. The local AL has formed a three-member committee to look into the matter and take appropriate action. The situation has since calmed down, especially after the AL national council. But the issue may not die down completely. The party leadership should see to it that such untoward incidents do not take place in future.
