Truck accident kills 2 in Magura

At least two people were killed and three others injured in a road accident in Rautora area in Magura Sadar upazila on Sunday morning. The deceased were identified as Zakaria Kazal, 25, son of Rahim Biswas, and Shamirul, 22, son of Solaiman Shaheed. Witnesses said a goods laden truck turned turtle when its driver lost control over the steering and rammed a bicycle leaving 5 people critically injured. They were rushed to Magura Sadar Hospital where two of the injured – Zakaria Kazal, 25, and Shamirul succumbed to their injuries. Asaduzzaman Munsi, OC of Sadar Police Station, confirmed the incident, according to a news agency.
