Truck driver killed in Kushtia road accident

The driver of a truck was killed as another truck knocked down his vehicle on the Kushtia-Meherpur highway in Kadamtola area of Mirpur upazila of Kushtia district on early Sunday. The deceased was identified as Lablu, 28, son of Anwar Hossain, hailing from Jhikargachha upazila in Jessore. Police said Lablu was repairing his truck lying underneath after it broke down in the area around 2.00am. At that moment, another truck hit the stationary truck, leaving Lablu dead on the spot. On information, police recovered the body, according to a news agency.
