Truck falls into ditch in Tangail killing three

Three persons have died and another has been injured in a truck accident on the Dhaka-Tangail Highway. The incident occurred in Tangail’s Mirzapur Upazila around 5:00am on Wednesday, said police. A goods-laden truck, on its way to Sirajganj district from Dhaka city, veered off the road near Asimtala and fell into a roadside ditch, said Gorai Highway Police Station OC Humayun Kabir. All the victims were occupants of the truck. Three of them died on the spot, while another was taken to the Kumudini Hospital in Mirzapur, said the police officer. The victims are yet to be identified, according to bdnews24.com.
