Truck’s gas cylinder blast kills 03 in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, July 09 (UNB): Three people were killed as a gas cylinder of a mini truck exploded at Shekherkhil in Banshkhali Upazila on Monday.
Two of the deceased were identified as Nur Hossain (30), son of Motahar Hossain of the area, and Abdul Latif Khan (44), son of Shah Alam of Barishal district.
Nur Nabi, sub-inspector of Banshkhali Police Station, said the gas cylinder went off with a big bang around 01:30 pm.
Soon, the mini truck caught fire, leaving its three passengers injured.
Besides, a motorbike with three riders crashed into the burning truck after the explosion, leaving all the bikers injured.
The injured were taken to the Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared the three truck inmates dead.
Later, the injured bikers were sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital.
