Trust Bank launches new SME product

Trust Bank Limited (TBL) launched a new SME product with cluster approach titled 'Trust-Bunon' to promote, develop and finance power loom, handloom and other allied industries at a launching ceremony at Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) auditorium Monday, says a press release.
Governor of Bangladesh Bank Dr Atiur Rahman inaugurated the new product and distributed loans as the chief guest to as many as twelve (12) SME entrepreneurs around Tk 20.2 million on the occasion.
Chairman of SME Foundation Aftab Ul Islam and DCCI President AK Khan were also present as special guests. Managing Director of the bank M Shah Alam Sarwar presided over the programme.
Among others, Deputy Managing Director Ishtlaque Ahmed Chowdhury, Head of SME TIM Rawshan Zadeed, internationally renowned fashion designer Ms. Bibi Russel, high officials of the Bangladesh Bank were also present.
