Trust Fund formed at DU

Abdul Aziz Chowdhury Trust Fund with Tk 3, 50,000 has been formed in the Department of Information Science and Library Manage-ment at Dhaka University.
The poor but meritorious students of the department will be given scholarships from the earnings of the fund every year.
Canada expatriate Abdul Aziz Chowdhury, who had passed the masters degree in History Department from DU in 1964, handed over a cheque for the aforesaid amount to the university's Vice-Chancellor SMA Faiz Sunday.
DU treasurer Syed Abul Kalam Azad, Library Science Department chairman Md Nasir Uddin Munshi and DU acting registrar Syed Rezaur Rahman, among others, were present during the occasion.
