Sunday, 3 August 2014

The RMG workers of five Tuba Group factories on Sunday rejected the payment offer made by the authorities and threatened to continue their unto-death hunger strike if their three months’ salaries and bonus are not paid together. A tripartite meeting of the government, leaders of Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters association (BGMEA) and Garment Sramik Somonnoy Parishad earlier in the day came up with a decision to disburse their two months’ salaries on Wednesday, according to a news agency.
