Tuba’s factories closure not proper : Minister

The labour ministry asked Tuesday the Tuba Group management to pay wages and other benefits to the workers of its five closed factories as the closure of the units under article 13 (1) was not proper. At a meeting with the factory owner and garment sector leaders in the city, the state minister for labour Mujibul Haque Chunnu also gave the Tuba Group authorities a four-day time to submit a detailed report on the workers' dues.
