Turkey posts 4pc rise in GDP growth in 2013

ANKARA, Apr 1 (Xinhua): Turkey's economy grew faster than expected in 2013 at a rate of four per cent compared to the previous year, the Turkish Statistics Institute (TurkStat) data showed on Tuesday.
Turkey's annual gross domestic product (GDP) in 2013 reached 122.3 billion Turkish Lira at constant prices, or about US$58.2 billion, reaching a year-on-year growth of four per cent, the TurkStat data showed.
