Turkish Hope School holds inter-school football tourney

International Turkish Hope School organised a three-day Inter school football tournament on its own artificial field in the city recently.
Bedrettin Suata, principal of the institution, inaugurated the event, according to a press release.
Bedrettin Suata said such activities help strengthen the relationship between students of different schools.
Eleven schools with their 24 teams from different parts of Dhaka including ITHS participated in the tournament. The teams from these schools were divided into three categories on the basis of age; U  14, U16 and finally U 18. An ample number of spectators watched the tournament enthusiastically, and several short matches were held before the final one.
Medals were handed over to the students of the champion team and runners up by the chief guest and main sponsor of the event Mainuddin Monem, chairman of Abdul Monem Group.
He congratulated the students with an inspirational speech that further motivated the students.
The champion teams are Scholastica (Under 14), CGSD (Under 16), Int'l Turkish Hope School (Under 18) and the runner ups Int'l Turkish Hope School (Under 14), Playpen (Under 16), BIT(Under 18) received their trophies from the Vice P r i 1 16  paTs .
