Twaki\\\'s father to contest N\\\'ganj by-election

Rafiur Rabbi, father of murdered teenager Tanvir Mohammad Twaki, said he will contest the Narayanganj constituency left vacant by Jatiya Party MP Nasim Osman’s death. ‘I have decided to contest the by-polls for Narayanganj-5 parliamentary seat as an independent candidate. I’m in Dhaka now,’ Rabbi, a civil movement activist, said on Tuesday. Jatiya Party Presidium member Nasim Osman represented Narayanganj-5 in Parliament before he died of cardiac arrest in Dehradunh, India, on April 30. The by-election for the seat has been scheduled on June 26, according to bdnews24.com.
