Two arms traders arrested

JESSORE, Aug 14 (UNB): Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two arms traders along with a pistol from RN Road in the district town Sunday night.
The arrested were identified as Arif, son of Awal of Molla para, and Khairul Bashar Babu, 24, son of Noor Mohammad of Bokchar in the district town.
RAB sources said a RAB team, in the guise of arms buyers, earlier had a deal with Arif and Babu regarding buying a pistol. After the agreement, a plain-clothed RAB team took position at the RN Road Sunday night.
As the duo, in a motorcycle, reached the place, the elite force captured them and recovered a pistol from their possessions.
