Two awarded life term for murder

NAOGAON, June 29 (UNB): A court here Thursday convicted two people and awarded them life term imprisonment in a murder case.
The court also fined the convicts Shamsul Huq and Sabuj of Mohadevpur Upazila Tk 10,000 each, in default, to suffer one year more RI.
Under another section of the same case, the convicts were given five years imprisonment and fined Tk 1000 each, in default, to suffer one month more RI.
According to the prosecution, the accused hired a three-wheeler, locally known as 'Bhatbhati', from Kesharhat of Mohanpur Uapzila of Rajshahi on April 4, 2004 to go to Nayahata of Naogaon.
