Two brothers die in Cox’s Bazar 'gunfight'

COX BAZAR, Mar 15 (BSS): Two alleged yaba traders were killed in a gunfight with a rival group at Ruppoti point in Ukhia upazila of the district in the early hours of Friday.
The dead are Mostak Mia (38), resident in Balu Khali Dhamonkhali area in the upazila and his brother Mokter Mia (42).
Officer-in-charge of Ukhia thana Nurul Islam said on information, they rushed to Marine Drive Road but the yaba traders fled from the scene leaving injured Mostak and Mokter on the spot. They were taken to Ukhia Upazila Health Complex where on-duty doctors declared them dead.
