Two city high rises catch fire

Two high-rise buildings--one at Gulshan-2 and another at New Eskaton Road--caught fire in the city Sunday morning. In the Gulshan incident the fire broke out on the 7th floor of 'IK Tower' at about 8:38 am. On information, five fire fighting units rushed in and doused the blaze after half an hour's efforts. In the other incident, a multi-storey under-construction building in the New Eskaton Road area caught fire at about 8:55 am. — UNB
