Two-day 'Fashion Tech Week' ends in Dhaka

The debut edition of 'Fashion Tech Week' (FTW) concluded in Dhaka. The event was aimed at Empowering the Bangladesh Readymade Garment (RMG) industry.
In the two-day event exhibitors and visitors witnessed valuable opportunities in the tech driven apparel business.
The two day event was organised by India-based Apparel Resources at Radisson Blu, Dhaka.
Technology leaders in the apparel sector offered solutions to the various key points of the RMG manufacturers with their cutting-edge technologies to industry representatives.
The tech displayed and discussed at FTW involved 3D cutting, Industry 4.0, predictive analytics, trend forecasting, on-demand manufacturing, virtual fitting rooms, customer engagement and experiential buying through technologies like AI/ML/AR/VR, 3D, IoT, edge computing, blockchain, smart textiles robotics and many more.
Both days of the event had panel discussions on various topics and stalwart industry leaders actively shared their experiences to the audience representing the RMG industry.
Top level and mid-level professionals from RMG companies, from across departments like sustainability, production, merchandising and more, also visited the event and benefited immensely. Exhibitors at the event also got a tremendous response and found exceptional business opportunities.
