Two-day information fair held in Sherpur

SHERPUR, Feb 17 (BSS): A two-day information fair began on Monday noon at Shaheed Minar premises in Nalitabari upazila of the district with the slogan "Tathyai Shokti, Jaanbo Janabo, Durniti Rukhbo.
The event is jointly organised by Nalitabari Upazila Administration and the Socheton Nagorik Committee (Sonak).
A total of 29 government and private organisations are participating in the fair, offering discussions on the right to information, debate competitions, open quiz competitions, assistance in filling out application forms for access to information, and providing information on anti-corruption issues.
The fair also featured an anti-corruption cartoon exhibition, a painting competition and anti-corruption speeches.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Farzana Akhter Bobby inaugurated the fair as the chief guest with former President of Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) Professor Enayet Ali in the chair.
