Two die of dengue in Khulna, Chandpur

A woman and a child died of dengue while 316 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in the last 24 hours until Thursday morning, reports UNB.
In Khulna, a woman died of dengue at Khulna Medical College Hospital on Thursday.
The deceased was identified as Masura, 25, wife of Habibullah of Abhaynagar Upazila in Jashore.
Shahin Biswas, a physician of KMCH, said Masura was admitted to the hospital on October 7 with dengue fever.
''She lost her battle against dengue around 12 pm today,'' he added.
In Chandour, Abdul Kader, 13, son of Amin Gazi of Jamtola road in Chandpur city, died on Thursday while undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital with dengue fever.
Chandpur General Hospital medical officer Md Asibul Hasan said Kader was admitted to Sadar Hospital on Wednesday and later he was referred to DMCH for better treatment.
Meanwhile, the Directorate General of Health Services said a total of 316 dengue patients were hospitalised in the last 24 hours till Thursday morning.
