Two DMCH nursemaids held with stolen baby

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) members arrested four women, including two specially trained nursemaids of DMCH, and rescued a stolen baby from the city's Lalbagh area on Monday, reports UNB.
The arrestees are nursemaids Farida, 40, and Zahanara Janu, and Ferdousi, 35, and Rozina Begum, 40.
As there is a rise in the theft of newborns from various hospitals, plain-clothes members of Rab-3 took position at the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) a few days ago to arrest the gang members.
Following their watch in the last few days, they reached a conclusion that Farida and Janu were involved in theft of babies.
Later, the Rab members approached the two nursemaids posing as buyers saying they wanted to buy a child and if they had any.
