Two executed for murders

MYMENSINGH, Dec 19: Two Mymensingh prisoners were executed just after Thursday midnight, prison authorities said Friday. Dulal Mia of Mymensingh and Kabir Hossain of Dhaka were hanged to death at 12:13am, district prison chief Shah Alam informed reporters. Kabir had been sentenced to death for strangulating his wife to death in 1997 and Dulal had been awarded the capital punishment for raping a girl to death in 2002.
