Two extortionists killed in shootout with RAB in city

Two suspected extortionists were killed in a shootout with RAB near Greenline Bus counter at Kalyanpur in the city Friday, reports UNB.
The deceased were identified as Biplob and Rohon.
RAB sources said a team of RAB-4 laid an ambush near the counter on secret information that a gang of miscreants may arrive there for extorting money.
Later, on arrival, sensing the presence of the law enforcers, the muggers opened fire on them triggering a gunfight at about 4:40am.
