Two female students crushed under truck

Two female students were crushed under a truck in Trishal upazila in Mymensingh district on Friday. The deceased were identified as Nipa, 14, and Nadia, 15, students of a local women’s madrasa. Local people said a speedy truck ran over the two students in the morning when they were crossing a road in Lakepar area, leaving them injured critically. They were rescued and rushed to the upazila health complex around 11:00am. Later, they were shifted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital (MMCH) as their condition deteriorated. They succumbed to their injuries at the MMCH after admission. When contacted, officer-in-charge (OC) of Trishal Police Station confirned the incident, according to a news agency.
