Two get life-term for killing woman in Tangail

TANGAIL, Nov 19 (BSS): A court here on Tuesday sentenced two persons including a woman to life-term imprisonment for killing a woman in Basail upazila of the district in 2018.
Additional District and Sessions Judge Afroza Begum handed down the verdict to Monowara Akhter, 36, and Uzzal Islam, 33, residents of Basail Purbapara village in the upazila.
The court also fined each of them Tk 20,000, in default, to suffer four months more in jail.
