Two held for selling walkie-talkies in city

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested on Sunday night two persons who were involved in illegal selling of Walkie-talkies from city's Gulistsn and Mohammadpur areas in the city.
The arrestees are Md Abdullah Al Sabbir, 33, and his associate Md Al Mamun (27).
Md Abdullah Al Sabbir is the proprietor of Allefil Trade Corporation that was involved with selling of Walkie -talkies using website and Facebook page.
The RAB also recovered 168 pieces of Walkie- talkies, 35 batteries, 32 chargers, 63 antennas, six mouth speakers and six back clips from their possession.
Commanding Officer (CO) of RAB-3 Lieutenant Colonel Arif Mohiuddin Ahmed disclosed it to the media at a press briefing at RAB Media Centre at Karwan Bazar in the capital.
