Two held with 15 fake notes in Jessore

Detectives arrested two people along with 15 fake currency notes amounting to Tk 15,000 at Chotkapota village under Sarsa Upazila in Jessore district on Sunday night. The arrested is Abdul Salam, son of Wazed Ali, and Anarul Islam Anar, son of Abdar Ali of the village. Officer-in-charge Moniruzzaman of Detective Branch (DB) of police, Jessore, said being tipped off, a team of DB police conducted a drive at Chotkapota around 8:00pm arrested them along with the counterfeit currencies, according to UNB.
