Two held with forged notes in Khulna

KHULNA, April 28 (BSS): Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two youths with counterfeit notes of Tk 1.66 lakh from the city on Saturday.
The arrestees were identified as Md Rubel Biswas, and Akash Biswas, residents of Abhaynagar upazila in Jashore district.
On a tip-off, a team of RAB-6 conducted a drive in Shaheed Hadis Park area of the city and arrested Rubel and Akash when they were waiting for their clients.
RAB also seized fake notes of Tk 1.66 lakh, four mobile phones with five SIMs from their possession. They were involved in fake note exchange business for a long time.
A case was filed with Khulna Sadar thana in this connection.
