Two held with Phensidyl in Rajshahi

Two people, including a union parishad chairman, was arrested along with 1,725 bottles of Phensidyl in Biraldoho Maipara under Puthiya upazila in Rajshahi district on Saturday evening. The arrestees were identified as Mostafiz Mithu, chairman of Yusufpur union in Charghat upazila, and Rana, driver of the truck. Being tipped off, police conducted a drive in Biraldoho Maipara around 7pm and seized a mini truck carrying mango. When searching the truck police recovered 1,725 bottles of Phensidyl hidden under mango in the truck. Mithu amd Rana were arrested from the spot, according to a news agency.
