Two Indian coal laden engine boats seized

SUNAMGANJ, Sept 18 (UNB): Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) members seized two engine boats loaded with Indian coal from Patlai River under Tahirpur Upazila Wednesday.
BDR jawans of Baliaghata camp searched the two boats and recovered five tonnes of coal while those were being smuggled into the country from India.
The smugglers, however, had managed to escape. The seized coal was deposited with Borochhara customs godown.
