MYMENSINGH, Apr 13 (UNB): Local people caught two JMB suspects along with firearms and bullets from Chechua Bazar in Muktagachha Upazila Sunday night.
RAB sources said local people caught two terrorists when they along with their accomplices were running away after hijacking a motorcycle of a former UP member.
The terrorists also fired two shots on the mob after being chased by them, they added.
The local people later handed over the terrorists -- Russell (25) and Fazlur Rahman (30) -- to the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) members.
The elite force recovered two pistols, five rounds of bullet and a sharp weapon from their possession.
On interrogation, Russell and Fazlur Rahman admitted that they were members of outlawed Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB), RAB sources said.
