Two killed, 30 injured in road mishap

KUSHTIA, Oct 26 (BSS): Two persons were killed and 30 others injured in a road mishap at Dasmile area on Kushtia-Ishwardi highway under Bheramara Upazila of the district Sunday.
Police said the accident took place when a Kushtia bound passenger bus from Bheramara skidded off the road and fell into the roadside ditch at Dasmile area. Two passengers of the bus died on the spot and another 30 were injured critically.
One of the deceased was identified as Rezaul Karim Babul (45), staff of local Public Works Department, while another could not be identified immediately.
The injured passengers were admitted to Kushtia General Hospital.
